Antonio Fernández-Coca Phd is a Professor at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (University of the Balearic Islands).

His work in the field of illustration has been published by prestigious journals such as El País, VISUAL and the publishing companies, Inforbook's, RBA and Anaya.

His work has also been acquired and used by TERRA.Es, INICIA.Es, CESPA-AGUAS DE BARCELONA, MEDIADVANCED.COM, TELEFONICA and RECICLAVIDRIO.COM among other large companies and institutions.

A graduate in fine arts by the University of Seville, diploma in Cinema and Television Production by the Andalusian Government and Master in Image Synthesis and Computer Animation by Middlesex University (UK) and the Universitat de les Illes Balears. He was one of the professors who co-ordinated the European Master on Interactive Multimedia (MA IMM).

He has been the graphic designer for the first CD-I (Philips) performed in Europe and is responsible for the graphic user interface of CD-ROMs of renown, such as the "Catalogue of the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation in Majorca" and 'S'Albufera', awarded the "Golden Perseus" at the Florence International Multimedia Festival.

He is the author of books such as "Production and Graphic Design for the World Wide Web", published by Paidós Editores. He has organised and/or imparted seminars in Italy, Belgium, France, Portugal, United Kingdom, Chile and Spain.
